Sandiaga Uno about the 'Blood Hose' 40 Times Use: Prabowo's Essence is More to the BPJS Condition

Jurnal Fakta. Vice President number 02 Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno straightened the intentions of his partner's statement, presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, who claimed to receive a report on dialysis at the RSCM was used up to 40 times. Sandi said the essence of Prabowo's statement was the condition of the deficit BPJS.

"The essence of Pak Prabowo's statement is more on the condition of the deficit BPJS," said Sandiaga during a visit to East Telukjambe, Karawang Regency, West Java, Thursday.
Sandiaga continued, besides experiencing a deficit, the BPJS could not calculate in detail the health service needs for the community.

"In essence, we want no late payment. We want BPJS to have enough funds, so that public health services are not hampered," Sandi said.

According to Sandi, Prabowo with his statement intended to remind the government that the BPJS must be managed properly. Because, not a few hospitals, clinics, or BPJS partners are having difficulties due to delinquent payments by BPJS. As a result, health services to the community are disrupted.

"We are worried about the condition of the BPJS which is often late in paying claims. We hope that the management of BPJS can be better. Because health services are a priority. That is the essence of Pak Prabowo's statement," Sandi said.

The management of RSCM denied Prabowo's statement, which claimed to have been reported that one patient's dialysis device at the RSCM had been used by 40 people. RSCM stated that the hose for hemodialysis (dialysis) is only used once.

"Patient services at RSCM always prioritize service quality and patient safety, as well as hemodialysis services (dialysis). Hemodialysis services at RSCM use one-time hose and dialiser (single use)," said Dr. Sumaryono, RSCM Medical and Nursing Director in his office, Jl Diponegoro, Jakarta Pusat, Wednesday
