SBY Invites Prabowo-Sandi to Discuss Preparations for the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Debate

Pojok Warta. The spokesman for the Prabowo-Sandiaga National Winning Body (BPN), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said Democrat Party Secretary Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono invited Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno to discuss preparations for the presidential debate. The invitation is scheduled for Friday, but is canceled.

"So, tomorrow, we should be invited by Pak SBY, but rescheduled," Dahnil said in Kembangan, West Jakarta, Wednesday.

Dahnil said the meeting would listen to input from SBY and former ministers from the Jokowi government, such as former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said, former Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security Tedjo Edy Purdjianto, until the Jokowi-JK era Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning , Ferry Mursyidan Baldan.

"Later, Bang Sandi and Pak Prabowo will get input from Mr. SBY, then from the ministers, including from the (former) ministers Mr. Jokowi. For example Pak Dirman (Sudirman Said), who then knows exactly what we should be. Then there is Pak Ferry , Mr. Tedjo. That will provide positive inputs, "explained Dahnil.

"So what is lacking from Pak Jokowi's administration, what is more. So we want to learn previous leadership, he-he will give input to Mr. Prabowo and Bang Sandi," he continued.

Meanwhile, vice president Sandiaga Uno said he had not received an invitation from SBY. He also explained that there was a political safari agenda in North Kalimantan on Friday, so the meeting agenda would be reset.

"I happen to be scheduled tomorrow in North Kalimantan. In essence, if for example there is a necessity to be present at the invitation of Mr. SBY, to this day I have not received it. But if there is an invitation, we will schedule it," he said.
